The San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce supports Connect Bay Area, the regional transit measure on the November ballot.
Reliable, sustainable transit is critical to our economy. It connects employees to jobs, supports employers across the region, and keeps Silicon Valley moving. Connect Bay Area would provide funding for transit service and transportation improvements across five Bay Area counties, including Santa Clara County.
The Chamber has also completed its review of California’s statewide ballot measures through the lens of San Jose’s economy, business climate and key policy priorities:
SUPPORT: Props 1, 2, 37 and 45
OPPOSE: Props 4, 39, 40, 43 and 44
NO POSITION: Props 3, 5, 38, 41 and 42
Our positions reflect the Chamber’s commitment to strengthening San Jose and the broader Silicon Valley economy, improving workforce mobility and supporting a competitive business environment.
