Third went to the vet yesterday. Big thanks to for taking such great care of him. Sooner than later he will be ready to find his forever home. For now he’s getting the care he deserves. Here’s what she had to say about this handsome dude…

“Someone gained 5 pounds in 5 days!!!!
Third is such a sweet boy is easy to fall in love with! LOVES car rides! Today he weighed 57.5 pounds! He’s acclimating smoothly here. Still has severe diarrhea so he had a Giardia test & will have results back tomorrow. He was seen by the vet and documented his severely
emaciated condition. He’s being monitored and should be fine given time and treatment. His right ear needed flushed and was super ye**ty. He had a pedicure, vaccines, f***l, exam & lots of treats! He will be back soon for more rechecks and in the mean time fattened up, loved, snuggled and photographed”

Picked up a mountain of donations from this afternoon. A whole bunch of toys and goodies, including over 250 pounds of kibble! Epic hall. We will make sure the houseless/transitional housing community pups get hooked up. Special thanks to for putting this together and always looking out for our four legged friends.

Thank you!

Another Miranda’s survivor, Yukon made it out. Look at the before and after. How many dogs have to come off that property underweight and in bad shape before this is over.

Once again, there is no justification for a dog looking better in the care of a shelter than a “rescue“.

A lot of people asking how they can help with the Miranda’s situation. There will come a time in the near future, where both volunteers and resources are needed. For now spread the word, Third is looking for his forever home. Since I will be up and back more times in the near future, I can transport for anyone interested in the South Bay. Here’s some information about Third from his current Foster. Special thanks to Moore Love Animal Rescue for getting him to safety.

“This sweet boy will be looking for a forever home when ready. I will post below some facts in case anyone is Interested.

* Pittbull/mix
* 3-4 years old

* Great with cats
* Great with children (can jump which is dangerous with smaller kids).

* LOVES LOVES LOVES car rides

I will post videos in the comments below. He is chunky in these videos as they were taken by his foster right before he was transported to Miranda’s Rescue. He was at Miranda’s for 45 days.”

Went back up north yesterday to participate in a city council meeting and protest/vigil at the courthouse. Had an opportunity to meet the two heroes who set this in motion. To say that I am grateful for Jenna and Jennifer would be a huge understatement.

We will be on this until there is some kind of resolution. This has to mean something. Crisis precipitates change and this is a crisis.
