Today is the feast of the 117 Martyrs of Vietnam. A few of them happened to be European missionaries. They were included because of the great esteem that was given to them by the locals. Some of these missionaries even stood as advocates for their communities at the risk of their lives.

October 6-9 and 13-16, 2011, QVTC staged the production of "Cha Joe" about Fr. Joe Ðevlin, S.J. the "Boat People Priest" who served at Our Lady of Peace Parish in his final days.
This in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of its staging.
