The New Ballet School (NBS) provides unparalleled ballet training to students of all ages and stages in downtown San Jose, California. The New Ballet School is an American Ballet Theatre Certified School. Training at New Ballet School provides a state-of-the-art classical ballet education, offering expert ballet training featuring the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum with a focus on dancer health and child development. Training is student-focused and promotes a positive body image and self-confidence. Our certified teaching staff has many years of experience bringing high quality artistic training to students ranging from 18 months and up. The majority of our staff have danced professionally and understand first hand the elements required for an artist's development. Classes feature live piano music in the classroom for a complete classical ballet education. Registration is always open. NEW CLASSES! We are excited to be hosting 2 classes at our Japantown Satellite location on Sundays for the 2026-2027 School Year, which goes from September-May.

Sundays
👑Ages 2.5-4, 10-10:45am
Similar to Dance With Me, but parent participation is optional.

✨Ages 5-7, 11am-12pm
A mix of our Pre-Primary and Primary A levels.

Build musicality, imaginative skills, teamwork, fundamental ballet technique, and joy of movement.
