Once left behind, it's picked up again. I wanted to share the Article 15 all the way through the Article 30 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. One by one and all together they have the power to reconstruct today's society maneuvering through the obstacles of moral corrosion and ignorance. To be a Human means to respect and honor the rights of the people around you and remember that you live amongst the people who are obligated to treat you with the same dignity.

The technology behind the phenomenon of Targeted Surveillance: A Double-Edged Sword

Neurotechnology is rapidly evolving, presenting both incredible opportunities and significant ethical challenges. At its core, neurotechnology involves tools that can assess, access, and influence brain processes, often in non-invasive ways. This technology has advanced remarkably over the past decade or two, expanding its applications across clinical, para-clinical, military, and public domains.

In the medical field, neurotechnology shows immense potential. The rapid improvements in neuroscience and artificial intelligence predict exponential growth in neurotech devices and applications.

However, this evolution comes with significant privacy concerns. In recent discussions about the rapid evolution of technology, one crucial topic often remains overlooked despite its growing urgency: electronic surveillance.

Many thousands of people (both in US and internationally) complain about highly organized electronic surveillance, being harassed both online and offline within their communities. While their character being discredited and their personal and work relationships being sabotaged, victims also report experiencing mental attacks via electromagnetic technology or so called "neuroweapons".

What does UN say about it?

The UN Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights has highlighted a form of abuse known as electromagnetic harassment. This issue, also referred to as electromagnetic torture, cybernetic torture, or cybertorture, represents a profound violation of human rights.
It's widely reported as "the crime that people complain most about on the internet/social media."

Why they call it this way?

Well, there are no policies in place to address and resolve these violations effectively. People simply have no choice other than cry for help online.

What to do?

It's imperative that society confronts and addresses these practices that threaten individual health, well-being, and life itself.
- Do your own research;
- Raise awareness within your community;
- Express your support to those who might have similar experiences;
- Reach out to your elected officials asking for more congressional supervision over this issue

Aid Center 'Heart of Holy Mary'

Navigator UA is thrilled to announce its support for the wonderful organization "Let the Kindness Rule the World," with whom we have had the honor to collaborate multiple times, in their extremely important and ambitious initiative to create a shelter for the elderly.

Our joint goal is to build a center of aid and refuge for senior citizens in the Chernivtsi region, Kitsman district, in the village of Bobivtsi, Ukraine.

But the ambition of the project goes further. In the course of discussions, we found common goals and decided to expand the idea by adding a rehabilitation department for war victims to the center. This unit will allow us not only to provide shelter but also to offer qualified medical care and psychological support to those affected by the consequences of Russian aggression, internally displaced persons, and those returning home.

We found the perfect house in the perfect location - near the forest and river, creating ideal conditions for rehabilitation and recovery. In this picturesque spot, the plan is to transform the existing cottages and annexes into the perfect aid center, combining comfortable living conditions with medical care and psychological support. The center has been named "HEART OF HOLY MARY"- a symbol of rescue and compassion for all people, regardless of their faith, registration, or social status.

The owner of the house, agreed for $6,000 (228,000 UAH) selling price, and has expressed willingness to wait for the funds, thereby supporting our noble cause.We appeal to each of you to join this initiative.

Your donations will become the solid foundation for the "HEART OF HOLY MARY" center and will help realize the dream of a place where elderly people and war victims can find shelter, care, and an opportunity for recovery.

Одного дня я почула дзвінок:

-Доброго дня,Богдана. Чи можу я у вас залишити свого батька?

-Як вас маю розуміти?

-Ви доглядаєте за старенькими? Мені потрібно з родиною виїхати,а батько старий, неможливо його взяти з нами. Хотіли вам залишити. У вас ж є пансіонат?

- Ні,вибачте я до того не маю відношення."

Пройшло не менше двох тижнів, дзвінок:

-"Вибачте Богдана. Я зараз проживаю в Італії,мама жила сама. Я не маю на кого її залишити. Можна до вас?

- Я не маю такої можливості...

Після таких дзвінків я дуже страждала - перед очима літні люди. Я завжди уявляла, як вони старенькі люди потребують домівки, ласки, турботи, а я відмовила...

Navigator UA вирішив підтримати чудову організацію "Let the Kindness Rule the World" 💙Коло добрих сердець💛(з якою ми вже співпрацювали неодноразово), в надзвичайно чуйній, та заразом амбітній ініціативі створити притулок для людей похилого віку. Наша ціль - побудувати центр допомоги та прихистку 🏠 для літніх людей. Центр буде знаходитись в Чернівецькій області, Кіцманський район, село Бобівці. АЛЕ це ще не все: при обговоренні, ми знайшли спільні цілі і вирішили розвинути ідею далі - при центрі ми обладнаємо відділ реабілітації для жертв війни.

@Богдана Миколаївна Опалко знайшла той ідеальний будинок, в ідеальному місці, біля лісу та річки поряд. Така місцевість ідеально підходить для надання прихистку та періоду реабілітації, адже в центрі буде надаватися лікарська допомога та психологічна підтримка.

В пості фото будинку таким який він є на даний момент і нижче те чим він стане в майбутньому. В планах є знесення теперішніх будівель і становлення нових для ідеального центру допомоги для літніх людей і жертв війни, чи то внутрішньо переселених осіб, чи тих які повертаються додому за місцем проживання/прописки. Поруч з цим будинком та іншими прибудовами є багато землі і непочатий край можливостей для будівництва майбутнього центру з усіма зручностями.

В цьому будинку старенькі люди мають відродитися та знайти люблячих внуків.

А постраждалі від наслідків російської агресії зможуть отримати якісний лікарський догляд, психологічні реабілітаційні послуги та зрештою відпочити від пережитого душею і тілом.

Центр називатиметься "СЕРЦЕ ПРЕСВЯТОЇ МАРІЇ", центр порятунку для людей незалежно від їхньої віри, прописки, соціального статусу.

Вартість цього будинку 6 тисяч доларів (228000 грн). Його власниця заради такої справи погодилася почекати трохи на кошти.

Huge thanks to those who joined our recent fundraiser for the kids at Terebovlia boarding school rehabilitation center for children with speech and hearing issues. From the expected $1000 set for the project we were able to raise $343. We used the funds to send some food and treats.

Our next goal is to supply the center with the necessary supply in terms of hygiene products and medicine.
We will keep you updated with every step we make.

Continuing the discussion on digital rights and freedoms, I would like to draw special attention to factors that in one way or another violate human rights in offline and online modes. Specifically, the right for privacy. With the development and improvement of modern technologies, additional risks arise. In general, we can start with simple things such as social networks. For example, in 2018, Facebook was accused of selling the information of eighty-seven million users to third parties. In 2023, TikTok joined the list of such media companies. However, besides these well-known impacts on the right to privacy of citizens, there are also less widespread cases that also concern the rights and freedoms of a large number of people but do not receive enough attention, including the issue that is currently being under consideration in Congress. It has the potential to rein in Americas sprawling surveillance if the warrantless surveillance law will be reformed according to the citizens right to privacy. Because the surveillance can often pick up the communications of American citizens who are not its direct target, many civil liberties organizations believe FISA operations violate legal protections on individual privacy. Adding to that concern is the fact that the information collected as part of FISA surveillance can be queried by domestic law enforcement agencies, such as Federal Bureau of Investigation, without a warrant that has the potential to violate other people's rights and lead to undesirable outcomes. In terms of human rights this issue is related to Article 12 of UDHR. No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with privacy, family, home or correspondence nor to attacks upon his honor and reputation. Such a process of conducting a case threatens citizens not only with privacy violations but, in some cases, with the loss of a good range of human rights during the investigation that may not be based on the fact of the committed crime, but on the factors that might not be an identifier of such.

EN: An update on the psychological rehabilitation for veterans. Ukraine is actively working on creating a network of modern rehabilitation centers for our military. Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, Yulia Laputina, shared the plans in an exclusive comment in The Hague. Considering the possibility of expanding existing centers or even constructing new ones equipped with modern services. 🏥💚 These centers will provide physical rehabilitation and support for mental health, with a focus on psychological assistance to our heroes. 🤝
