We donated 400 liters of hand sanitizer today to the Orchard School District. We want to help our teachers and kids stay as safe as possible.. Thank you Jenina for coordinating!

This past weekend in partnership with Safeway we were able to distribute the Pfizer Vaccine to 1,075 people in our community with 100% volunteer support staff. It was a very big project that spanned weeks in planning. It's truly amazing what we can do as a community if we come together.

Thank you to all the volunteers and pharmacists for countless hours. Thank you to our sponsors who donated food and drinks. Thank you to the audio video team for setting up a 20ft video wall for movies (the first vaccination site to do so).

We are happy to announce that we will be partnering with to setting up a Covid-19 vaccination site in Downtown San Jose in the next few weeks. We will be announcing dates and sending out registration links for appointments soon. We encourage our community to get vaccinated and to help fight this disease. We are happy to be able to contribute to this effort and will be asking for for volunteers as well. If you would like to volunteer please email [email protected]. Thank you!

One year ago, the Covid-19 changed our world forever. A fast spreading disease was spreading across the globe at an alarming rate. We went into a lock down that affected millions of businesses and of course hundreds of millions of their employees.

There was so much fear, despair and uncertainty. Then at the same time as the lock down happened a group of local businesses, developers and volunteers formed a non-profit organization known as SJ SHIPKITS. A very passionate group of people that worked relentlessly to put together such a large scale operation in such a short amount of time was truly impressive. We rallied volunteers, planned a large scale assembly operation and found generous companies and people to donate to help our cause.

Our story grew and inspired others, we gained media coverage and our partnership list grew even bigger. We gained strategic partners ranging from local farms to professional sports teams. With our momentum we have been able to accomplish so much and have helped so many families get thru this hard time. We saw first hand what direct action can accomplish and how much reach we really have when we come together with good people.

We know that the pandemic is still ongoing and there is a lot of rebuilding to do, but we do see that there is light at the end of the tunnel. We know that our fight is not over and the journey continues on. We will be making announcements in the near future about our direction and our new upcoming projects. But for now, we would like to celebrate and extend a heart felt THANK YOU TO THE FOLLOWING.

Another week and another 500 boxes going out to families in need. The Covid-19 infections continue to rose and people are still out of work. Please consider donating so that we can continue our fight.

Special thanks to the Arrillaga Family for volunteering so consistently for us! Not only did the allow us to operate in the Armory building which they co-own but they have been so active in volunteering. We appreciate the entire family! It's great to see family time being so caring and giving during the holiday season.

The work is not done! We are assembling boxes this week after another round of generous donations. We know that this new shelter in place mandate will be hitting families and businesses especially hard. Although our boxes contain food and supplies, the most important thing we want to give people is Hope and to know that there are people who care.

We are still helping the community where we can. By coordinating and holding a blood drive at SJ Armory this past week. There's going to be more of this in the future soon. Our focus will always be on the betterment of the community and the health and safety of our fellow residents!
