From Pacific Hackers to DEF CON history! 🏆

From a local CTF win to the ultimate honor in cybersecurity—huge congratulations to Chris Ye (aka "Crash")! 🏆🔥

Chris started his streak by taking 1st place at our annual Pacific Hackers Pre-DEF CON BBQ & CTF, earning himself a ticket to DEF CON. But he didn't just show up to attend... he went all in.

Chris competed in the DEF CON Packet Capture Village, dominated the competition, and took 1st place overall! 🥇

With that victory, he earned one of the most prestigious and elusive achievements in the entire cybersecurity world: the DEF CON Black Badge—granting him lifetime entry to DEF CON. 🎟️♾️
