The San Jacinto Rotary Club was honored to recognize a number of community leaders at our recent annual Citizen of the Year dinner at the San Jacinto Leadership Academy.
They all do outstanding jobs serving youth and our overall community.
Citizen of the Year - Ken Reed

Teachers of the Year - Michelle Adams, Megan Cope Elementary and Sharyn Guminiak, Mountain View High School
Certificated Administrator of the Year - Dulce Noriega, District Office
Classified Employee of the Year - DeSean Gilmore, San Jacinto High School
Classified Administrator of the Year - Angela Phalen, Nutrition Services
Sheriff's Deputy of the Year - Deputy John O’Brien, San Jacinto Station
Firefighter of the Year - Engineer Chris Bryson, Station 25
Nonprofit of the Year - Healthy Valley Foundation
Business of the Year - Delgado’s Restaurant

The San Jacinto Rotary Club's 17th annual Community Recognition dinner will be Monday, March 23. We will recognize longtime San Jacinto educator Ken Reed as Citizen of the Year.
We also will honor teachers, school staff, first responders, and a nonprofit and business of the year at our new location, San Jacinto Leadership Academy.

Today, Wednesday September 10, is the day to pick up your peaches and/or apples.
Come to the San Jacinto Unified School District Central Kitchen, 221 Bissell Place, between 4 and 5:30 p.m. and we will have your yummy treats. You don't even have to get out of your vehicle for delivery.
If you didn't order, or want more, we will know if there are any available on Thursday morning and will post details here.

Delivery is scheduled for Sept. 10 at a the San Jacinto Unified School District Central Kitchen, 221 Bissell Place.

Congratulations to one of our San Jacinto Rotary Club members!

Congratulations to Dr. Vincent Record who was named the San Jacinto Unified School District 2024-2025 Volunteer of the Year. SJUSD Board Chairman Sandra Penaloza and Superintendent Dr. David Pyle made the announcement during the March 5th SJ Education Foundation meeting.

Dr. Record retired from SJUSD in June 2024 however, remains VERY active in district events and continues to support students throughout the San Jacinto Valley.

Thank you, Dr. Record. We appreciate you!
