The Kniestedt Foundation is committed to helping veterans recognize and achieve their full potential as they return to civilian life.

James Kniestedt, a veteran of United States Army Special Forces, has gone through intense combat and has seen the sacrifice of our brave service men and women. Forced to retire due to combat related injuries, he has dedicated a large portion of his time to assisting veterans and their families overcome the challenges of everyday life.

One of the biggest priorities at the Kniestedt Foundation is building lasting relationships with the Veterans we serve. We work hard to put our Veterans in great situations, surrounded by genuinely good people who share our passion for the outdoors and our commitment to supporting those who have served.

Last December, Army Veteran Justin Orrick joined us for an Illinois Whitetail Hunt on land leased by Harry Soutis. What started as a hunting opportunity has grown into a friendship that continues well beyond the woods.

This week, Harry and Justin met up for dinner, and Justin brought along his mount so they could check out the finished product together. A big shoutout to Matt Stark of Wildest Dreams Taxidermy for the outstanding taxidermy work!

While our crew was busy chasing whitetails during the Northern Missouri Doe Hunt last weekend, we also had Caleb Matthews, son of Kniestedt Foundation alumnus Josh Matthews, up north in Wisconsin for a whitetail hunt of his own!

This brand-new event for the Kniestedt Foundation came together thanks to the generosity of Mike and Angela Fuge, who opened up their home and property to make this opportunity possible. Mike approached us with the idea last winter, and we jumped all over the opportunity to make it happen!

And boy, are we glad we did! Caleb had himself quite the weekend, putting his marksmanship to the test and coming away with THREE does harvested! Let's just say the young man proved he can shoot!

A huge THANK YOU to Mike and Angela for welcoming Caleb and helping us launch another opportunity to get the next generation outdoors. We are incredibly grateful for people who continually look for ways to support our mission and create meaningful hunting experiences.

It's always special when our Kniestedt Foundation family grows, and having the opportunity to share these experiences with the children of our alumni makes it that much better.

What a weekend in Northern Missouri with our friends at B4 Outdoors!
A few years ago, we met Kevin and his father at a sporting clays fundraiser the Kniestedt Foundation hosted in Wisconsin. Since then, we’ve stayed in touch, shared ideas, and helped each other out whenever we could. From the beginning, we’ve been impressed by their genuine heart for Veterans and their commitment to creating meaningful outdoor experiences.

So, when Kevin approached us about sending a few guys his way for a doe hunt in Northern Missouri, we were all in! And let us tell you, this event did not disappoint!

Four Kniestedt Foundation alumni hit the field and came away with an impressive seven deer and one coyote! But one of the weekend’s highlights belonged to Veteran Keith Hickman, who harvested his first AND second deer ever! That's the kind of experience that makes these opportunities so special.

As great as the hunting success was, though, the harvest numbers only tell a small part of the story. The memories made, the laughs shared, and the camaraderie built around camp are what truly make weekends like this worthwhile. At the end of the day, it’s about much more than filling tags. It’s about building relationships, strengthening bonds, and giving Veterans the opportunity to spend time with people who understand and appreciate their service.

A HUGE thank you to Kevin and the entire B4 Outdoors crew for all the time, effort, and heart you put into making this event a success. We appreciate the partnership, the friendship, and everything you do to support Veterans.

We’re grateful to have folks like you in our corner, and we look forward to making many more memories together!

There’s a lot more behind that bottle of Gravick Ranch Sauce or shaker of Gravick Ranch Seasoning than just great flavor.

Every purchase helps fund outdoor events for Veterans through the Kniestedt Foundation.

One of the cornerstones of every Kniestedt Foundation event is great food, and Gravick Ranch products have become a staple around the campfire, grill, and dinner table. There’s just something about bringing Veterans together over a great meal after a day outdoors.

This past weekend, Joe Rhodes was putting the Gravick Ranch lineup to work, prepping food for our upcoming Colorado Mule Deer Hunt with Ho**er Mountain Outfitters.

The hunt may still be a few weeks away, but the preparation is already underway—and that includes making sure our Veterans are well fed!

We just added a little something to the arsenal.

A huge thank you to the generous guides who continue to donate their time, effort, and, apparently, their eardrums to the Kniestedt Foundation.

We’re excited to announce that we’ve added suppressors to our lineup, and we couldn’t be happier with how these came together.

A big THANK YOU to the good folks at Midwest Gun Works for pointing us in the direction of Precision Armament. Their suppressors paired with our Browning X-Bolts are absolutely the ticket.

We’re looking forward to putting these new additions to work and, hopefully, giving our guides’ ears a little break along the way.

Colorado is only a couple weeks away… and we can’t wait!

Weekends like this are what it’s all about.

Harvesting animals is always a huge part of what we strive for. It’s a true goal of ours to put Veterans in the field and give them the opportunity to experience a successful hunt. But there’s another objective that is every bit as important: the relationships created and the camaraderie built around camp.

This Wyoming Pronghorn Hunt absolutely nailed both goals.

Veteran Cody Dunn came to Wyoming with us and put a beautiful pronghorn on the ground. More importantly, he became part of the Kniestedt Foundation family. Cody, thank you for trusting us enough to spend this time with us and for jumping in with both feet. It’s great to officially have you as part of the family, and we’re already looking forward to the many memories still to come!

A massive THANK YOU to the Rankin Family for being absolutely incredible hosts. We appreciate you more than we can put into words. It is truly an honor to partner with you on an event this meaningful. Year after year, you open your home, your ranch, and your hearts to our Veterans, and you all absolutely nail it every single time.

And finally, thank you to Veteran and Kniestedt Foundation Ambassador Travis Greenwood for everything you did to make sure this event went off without a hitch. Your time, effort, and commitment to making these experiences special for other Veterans never go unnoticed.

A couple of weekends ago, Kniestedt Foundation team member Joe Rhodes headed north to Milwaukee with his family to settle up on a bet he probably wishes he had never made.

Earlier this year, Joe and Fred Clark, host of our annual Wisconsin Turkey Hunt, placed a little wager on whether the St. Louis Cardinals or Milwaukee Brewers would win more games this season.

The stakes were simple: the loser had to swallow some pride and wear the other team’s gear to a game.

Well… let’s just say things didn’t work out so well for this avid Cardinals fan.

So Joe packed up the family, headed to Milwaukee, put on the dreaded Brewers gear, and paid his debt like a man. There may have been a little suffering involved, but judging by the smiles, everyone still had one heck of a time.

More than anything, though, weekends like this remind us just how blessed we are to have Fred and Becky Clark in our lives. What started as a turkey hunt and a friendly bet has grown into a genuine friendship and a relationship we value tremendously.

We’re incredibly thankful for folks like the Clarks who continue to open their home, share their time, and support the Kniestedt Foundation and the Veterans we serve.

This week’s comes to us straight from the crew on our Wyoming Pronghorn Hunt, and let’s just say they had one heck of a weekend!

Veteran Cody Dunn laid down a beautiful pronghorn, while ranch owner Chris Rankin followed it up by dropping a stud bull elk!

Now THAT is how you do a Wyoming weekend. Two incredible animals, plenty of work ahead, and hopefully one heck of a freezer full of meat!

A huge congratulations to Cody and Chris, and an even bigger thank you to the Rankin family for hosting our Veterans and making this hunt possible.

It doesn’t get any more than this!

The fellas are on their way west. It’s time to put boots on the ground and start hunting!

After months of preparation, planning, and anticipation, there’s nothing better than seeing everything finally come together and getting our Veterans out in the field.

A HUGE thank you to the Rankin family for opening their doors, welcoming our crew, and hosting this hunt. Your generosity and willingness to support Veterans is what makes opportunities like this possible.

Now it’s time to chase some pronghorn, enjoy the Wyoming landscape, and, most importantly, make some memories!
