A big shout out to the Tomah Warrens Sportsman’s Alliance for featuring some Gravick Ranch products at their recent archery league party!

These are some great folks who know how to shoot, have a good time, and apparently know how to season some meat!

JUST 8 DAYS OUT!

The countdown is on! We are just 8 days away from the 2026 Kniestedt Foundation Missouri Dove Hunt, and we couldn’t be more excited to get back in the field with some incredible Veterans.

We can’t wait to make more memories, share more laughs, and create more moments just like this!

THE NEW Kniestedt.org IS LIVE!

We’re excited to announce that the Kniestedt Foundation website has gotten a facelift! As we celebrate 10 years of the Foundation, we wanted our website to better represent who we are, what we do, and—most importantly—the Veterans and community that make this organization what it is.

A huge THANK YOU to Jason Noble of Noble Ad Consulting for helping us bring this vision to life and put together a great representation of the Kniestedt Foundation at Year 10. We appreciate your time, creativity, and effort in helping tell our story!

The 2026 Kniestedt Foundation Alumni Float is officially in the books!

This year will be remembered as the year we were tested on just how committed we are to making this event happen. After trips that didn’t work out on the Osage Fork and the Big River, we decided to head back to a stretch of river we knew would have water in late August and plenty of fish, the Big Piney.

And man, did it deliver.

The weather couldn’t have been better, the fishing was great, and the river was exactly what we needed. But as always, those things pale in comparison to simply having some time on the water with some good fellas.

Oh, and apparently something was definitely happening on this stretch of river that we had never seen before. We had a copperhead swim right through the group and more than a dozen confirmed cottonmouth sightings. A little eerie? Absolutely. But mostly…pretty darn cool.

Another successful Alumni Float in the books. Another weekend spent building friendships, making memories, telling stories, and enjoying some time together.

This is why we do what we do.

On our way home from the Alumni Float this weekend a lady stopped us at a gas station to inquire about our trip. She said, “my goodness, don’t you guys get hungry out there?” We told her we make due. Truth is, we probably gain weight out there.

Benefit Golf Tournament for Justin Orrick

Army Veteran and Kniestedt Foundation alum Justin Orrick proudly served our country until a service-connected injury forced his medical retirement. After years of living with severe degenerative disc disease, Justin recently underwent neck surgery and is now preparing for another major operation to replace three discs in his lower back.

Due to issues with the VA, Justin has had to seek treatment through a civilian doctor—and unfortunately, his insurance is not backing the procedure.

These surgeries offer Justin hope for a better future, but the financial burden remains immense.

That’s why we’re coming together to support one of our own.

THE ALUMNI FLOAT IS ON!

After a variety of issues with various bodies of water, we’ll admit it, this event has tested just how committed we are to making it happen.

But we’re still here. We’re still committed. And we’re still getting it in!

The water is looking good, the weather is looking great, and we couldn’t be more ready to get a bunch of Kniestedt Foundation Alumni back on the water for a weekend of fellowship, laughs, and making memories.

11 Years of Giving Back

A huge THANK YOU to Norma and Dan Winder for once again coordinating the donation of 2 mule deer and 2 elk tags for disabled Veterans to hunt in Wyoming!

This year marks the 11th consecutive year Norma and Dan have made this possible. Their generosity and tireless efforts have resulted in so much more than successful hunts. They have helped create life changing experiences, lifelong friendships, and a long list of unforgettable memories.

We are incredibly grateful for their continued commitment to the Veterans we serve. What they do truly makes a difference.

Thank you, Norma and Dan, for 11 incredible years of giving back to those who have given so much.

3-LEGGED MONSTER — COMPLETE!

Huge congratulations to USMC Veteran and Kniestedt Foundation alum Aaron Ernst and team member Joe Rhodes on taking on—and conquering—the 3-Legged Monster.

This was no ordinary race.
Aaron put in 28 miles on the bike
Joe tackled 13 miles of trail running
Then they teamed up to finish with a 12-mile paddle in a canoe!

That’s 53 miles of grit, teamwork, and determination across three completely different disciplines.
