With more Americans looking to leave the United States than possibly ever before, this is a timely article for DV survivors who think they can leave their abusive exes behind and start anew in a new country. The long arm of the law will find you and your children. Be forewarned. READ this important article from Olivia Gentile.

The Hague Abduction Convention was meant to reunite mothers and children. Instead, it's often used by allegedly abusive fathers to tear them apart.

Excellent piece in the Denver Gazette on continued progress in Colorado. Congrats to Maralee McLean of Mom's Fight Back and others for all of their hard work.

Involvement in family courts is now considered a risk factor for death, according to the state's fatality review board. Let that sink in.

Froelich and reform advocates also have pointed to sobering death statistics collected by The Center for Judicial Excellence, a nonprofit group that advocates family court reform. That group reports that at least 30 children in Colorado have been murdered by a separating or divorcing parent involved in a family court proceeding since 2010.

A survey shows family court judges often ignore signs of child abuse during custody disputes. Now Colorado legislators and reform advocates are pushing for new domestic violence training mandates for

Our child homicide research was cited in this new article at Governing.com.

Associate Professor Dale Margolin Cecka from Albany Law School writes:

"Why do aggressive men with violent pasts still have access to their children? And what can we do to prevent this dangerous practice?

Shockingly, family courts award joint or sole custody to fathers accused of domestic violence around 70 percent of the time. Alleged abusers are also frequently granted unsupervised parenting time, unless their child was directly targeted. And even when supervision is required, it’s often done by a family member in the privacy of the abuser’s home.

Over the past few decades, courts have increasingly favored joint legal custody, even when one parent has a history of violent abuse, and many states have “friendly parent” statutes that emphasize co-parenting and penalize parents who resist. Fathers accused of domestic violence are twice as likely to seek custody, using the courts as a tool for continued control over their victims."

Far too often, family courts award shared custody to fathers accused of domestic violence. Hundreds of children have been murdered. There’s much that policymakers could do to prevent some of these tragic outcomes.

ORANGE CO, CALIF- We have been on the lookout for evidence of judicial bribes for decades. This former judge and assistant DA shot and killed himself once the feds showed up at his door. We hope the FBI keeps looking into corruption in Orange County. Too many children are being harmed in the courts there.

Authorities arrived at Stewart Rosenwasser's home in Campbell Hall to arrest him as part of a corruption case, law enforcement sources told ABC News.

Obituary for a man who didn’t die soon enough.

Richard was Born May 1963 in Oak Park, Illinois and died August 18, 2024 in Maywood, Illinois at the age of 61. Much longer than he deserved to live. He was a son, brother, nephew, cousin, army veteran, friend, and ra**st. He is survived by his mother, brothers, sisters, and many nieces and nephews. The world was blessed he never had any children of his own. His love for children was heinous. He showed children that monsters are real.

A huge Chicago sports enthusiast. When he wasn’t attending a Sox or Bears games he enjoyed grooming and ra**ng children. His hobbies included taking photos committing evil acts on a child handcuffed in his bed. He was unable to carry a tune but that didn’t stop him from singing. He used his love of music to turn up the radio so nobody could hear the screams of a child coming from his bedroom while he r**ed her. To silence his victim he showed her the flames from a lighter threatening to burn her house down if she told anyone their secret. He had a gift at showing children what Hell on Earth looks like.

For decades he suffered from kidney disease receiving weekly dialysis treatment. His suffering did not even come close to the suffering he inflicted on children. He took the truth to his grave. He never faced a judge on Earth for his evil acts but he faced the greatest judge on his departure from Earth when he had to answer to God.

His victims can breathe a sigh of relief he is gone but death does not erase what he did. Friends will say he died too soon. To one of his victims he didn’t die soon enough. The world is now a safer place without him.

Genesis 50:20 “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
