Yes. 30,000 masks getting delivered this whole week and next week to hospitals in and around LA, Orange County and we have even reached out to as far as hospitals out in Northridge 🙏🏼
Our hearts are exceptionally full.

We have realized that alone, we can only do so much. But when we get the support and love that we do from people like you guys ... from our community ... there is nothing we can’t achieve together. So many of you don’t realize what an impact you have made in the lives of those working frontline. Each dollar you donated helped protect a frontliner, their patients, their families and their loved ones. COVID took us all by surprise and I think it’s shown us many ugly sides to society and what the future of our return back to “normal life” may look like. But one thing hasn’t been lost amongst many of us. And that’s the gift of giving, no matter what time of year it is.
So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person that has supported, shared and donated to the . We cannot tell you how impactful it was to see the smiling faces of many as we dropped off these masks today. Times are tough and this is one of those rough waves we’re all learning how to sail. But together, we’ll get through it 💛

The long anticipated wait is over!
Our shipment of 30,000 masks has arrived yesterday and we will be distributing them to hospitals all day on Wednesday, April 29th!
This was all possible because of YOU. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for your continued generosity during these very difficult times.
Our healthcare workers and medical staff need to continue to stay protected.

In the last few weeks, we’ve been hit with devastating news ... day after day. So many of us praying for the day when life will return to “normal” again.
But we don’t ever doubt the power of prayer, Faith and humanity.
The launched 23 days ago and since then, we have raised a total of $17,275!!! In the last two weeks we have held off on any updates so that we could calculate and finalize our off-line donations. And here it is.
So many people reached out to lend a hand.
We are in awe. But at the same time, our hearts are so warm because we knew our community would come together during times like this. You all have shed so much light and hope during these dark times and we cannot say it enough ... from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU 🙏🏼
As an organization, Modern Enlightenment has purchased a total of 46,000 masks and so far we have distributed 16,000 masks.
Our shipment of the remaining 30,000 masks will be arriving on April 20 and distribution will begin next week.
Our FRONTLINERS need the community’s support more than ever.
So with deep gratitude, thank you all for choosing to spread love instead of ignorance and hate during times of great fear. Thank you giving a bit of yourself to help others.

We would have never imagined the campaign to have grown as much as it did. And it’s all because of YOU 🙏🏼
As an organization, our goal is to help as many hospitals as we can to provide as many masks as we can.
And we are so happy to announce that we have purchased 46,000 masks!
15,000 masks have already been distributed and we are waiting for a large batch to arrive next week.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support.
Our mission has always been to give back.
And without you and the community’s support ... this would never have been possible.

We live to provide service and help those in need.
Today, we dropped off a total of 4,000 masks to Glendale Memorial Hospital and a pediatric/urgent care clinic in DTLA! I wish you all could have seen the smiling faces of those you have helped, and how much gratitude they had knowing that the community was lending a hand to help protect our frontline staff.
As our numbers climb, our healthcare providers need protection. MORE THAN EVER.
So many hospitals are asking their staff to reuse their masks, to wear 1 masks throughout their entire shift ... going from patient to patient. "Standard precautions" no longer exist. And the lives of these frontliners are at risk. Their families are at risk and the patients they care for are at risk.
We want to continue providing as much resources as we can to those in need ... because we know our hospital staff need us more than ever.
We thank you - from the bottom of our hearts - for everything you're doing to help us fulfill this mission to protect our HCP and make a difference in such a dark situation.
Stay tuned because our next large shipment is coming in next week and we will be able to distribute a lot more masks to more hospitals.

So far we have been able to purchase 22,000 masks to distribute to hospital in and around LA and OC. We cannot thank you enough!

The holidays are about giving and we couldn't be more proud of this event! Modern Enlightenment has been serving the Skid Row community since 2013 and we are so thankful to have been able to expand within our community.
A very special thank you to the students of New Lexington Elementary, Kids Campus Youth Center, Cal State LA's School of Nursing and Whittier College for coming out to support us!
Thank you to Albertsons of Arcadia for donating 500 bottles of water and partnering up with us to make difference!
Thank you to everyone that has helped make this event successful! We truly, could not have done it without you.

We are overwhelmed with happiness to see what a success yesterday’s event was! We want to thank each and every single person that took time out of their Saturday to join us in helping those in need.

To New Lexington School: it was a pleasure implementing our first group of Y.O.U.T.H students and we are excited to create more leaders this upcoming school year. Thank you for allowing us into your campus and for wonderful support from parents, teachers and staff! We are so proud of all the students for fundraising so many items to give away yesterday to those in Skid Row! 😊
