Resilient Neighborhoods

Resilient Neighborhoods Resilient Neighborhoods brings people together to take action on climate change. Want to join or make your own EcoTeam?

Resilient Neighborhoods empowers Marin citizens to take action on climate change by significantly reducing their carbon emissions. Using a proven program, participants can be part of the global warming solution by losing at least 5,000 pounds of carbon and becoming more aware of the environmental and social impacts of their actions. This FREE program is designed to provide a path to energy indepen

dence, responsible purchasing choices, and emergency preparedness—all of which lead towards community resilience.

--WHAT'S "RESILIENCE"? Resilience is "the ability to respond with flexibility and strength as local and global conditions inevitably change." Changes are accelerating, in large part, because of the demands our lifestyles, our commerce, and our governmental policies impose on the natural systems that support life.--

Resilient Neighborhoods brings together groups of friends, neighbors, co-workers, and like-minded others to save money, save energy, and undertake actions together to live a more sustainable lifestyle. Email [email protected] for more information

Use one of the SMART shuttles to get to your destination! The shuttles are free for youth and seniors (65+). It is $1.50 for adults, and $0.75 for persons with a disability.

Did you know SMART has two shuttles?

Our Connect Larkspur and Connect Airport shuttles help with that first- and last-mile—whether you’re heading to the Charles M Schulz-Sonoma County Airport-STS, the Larkspur Ferry Terminal to catch the Golden Gate Ferry or traveling within our on-demand areas.

✅ While our friendly drivers try and accommodate everyone, pre-booking your ride is encouraged, especially for popular days like weekends and Giants games. When space is at a premium, pre-booked rides get priority.

📞 Call 800-727-0279 for reservations or try the Ride Pingo app.

Learn more at sonomamarintrain.org/connect. See you on board! 🎉
