"Tennessee kicked off the 'rename June' trend this year by designating the month as 'Nuclear Family Month.' The declaration said that nuclear families are 'one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children' and 'God’s design for familial structure.'

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R) declared June 'Fidelity Month' yesterday to celebrate 'Cultivating fidelity to God, family, community, and country.' Sanders then shared a Daily Wire story explaining that she made this declaration specifically for the purpose of 'Counter-Programming Pride Month.'

Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey (R) signed a proclamation last week declaring June 'Strong Families Month.' The proclamation makes it clear that 'strong families' do not include families headed by same-sex couples: 'Homes led by stable parents, a father and a mother, provide children with the structure and discipline necessary to succeed.'

Indiana Gov. Mike Braun (R) copied Tennessee’s wording and designated June 'Nuclear Family Month' yesterday, saying that families 'consisting of one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children' are 'God’s design for the family structure.'

And in Utah, Gov. Spencer Cox (R) declared last week that June is 'Fidelity Month' and says that the U.S. Constitution was “made only for moral and religious people'."

Their declarations often say that "one husband, one wife" families are better than those headed by same-sex couples.

Leen Hijaz, the valedictorian at Clayton High School in North Carolina, made these "unapproved" comments in her graduation speech - which led the school's principal to drag her away from the microphone. The school also tried to withhold her diploma after this event:

"Class of 2026, this is our moment. Let's move forward with confidence, ambition, and hope for the future. Before I leave the stage, I have one last thing to say. Every single person here has a voice, and we are privileged to have the freedom to use it when so many people around the world are struggling and suffering to be heard. Whether it’s the millions suffering in Palestine, Sudan, Congo, Afghanistan and so many other countries around the world, or families being torn apart by ICE. These are not distant issues. They are happening right here as I speak. My point is, we’re not given a voice to stay silent."

"Scott Pelley is not looking to go quietly. The veteran 60 Minutes correspondent, and one time CBS Evening News anchor, hit back at CBS News for firing him on Tuesday. In a lengthy statement, Pelley accused CBS News management, led by editor-in-chief Bari Weiss, of 'incompetence and unprofessionalism' and made more damning accusations including that he was 'instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias into a politically sensitive story'."

The veteran '60 Minutes' correspondent was fired on Tuesday by CBS News after a stormy meeting on Monday with incoming executive producer Nick Bilton.

In a press availability in the Oval Office, Trump called CNN 'a very corrupt organization' and then referred to Collins, who was there asking questions, as 'a corrupt reporter standing right there, never smiles.' Trump said, 'A young beautiful woman, never smiles. I never see a smile off her face. I see her standing there with hatred in her eyes, like she has hatred, because we had borders, because we have a strong military, because we cut our taxes, because we do things that everybody wanted, and then we win our election in a massive landslide'."

They’ve catalogued anonymous board discussions about hypothetical data center attacks, mixing obvious trolling with a few posts that veer into actual operational planning."

Philadelphia police are flagging Dune memes and anti-AI jokes as terrorism threats despite admitting zero specific plans exist against data centers.
