Geary Boulevard is looking better than ever!

The new Geary Boulevard branded street pole banners are now up along the corridor!

We’ve installed banners at 30 locations, with a total of 60 banners helping create a stronger, more welcoming identity for Geary Boulevard.

This is more than beautification. It’s about building a recognizable Geary Boulevard brand, supporting our local businesses, and creating a vibrant commercial corridor that residents and visitors can be proud of.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible!

Congratulations to Beauty Network on its 40th Anniversary!

It was wonderful to celebrate this special milestone together with David and Shlomit. Thank you to everyone who came out to support them and celebrate 40 years of service, hard work, and commitment to our community.

We were also honored to celebrate with California State Controller Malia Cohen, District 1 Supervisor Connie Chan, District 8 Supervisor and President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors Rafael Mandelman, and former Board President Aaron Peskin.

Congratulations again to David, Shlomit, and the entire Beauty Network family on 40 incredible years. Wishing you many more successful years ahead!

Last Thursday, Captain Kevin Lee, officers from SFPD Richmond Station, GBMA, and Ixchel Acosta, Executive Director of the SFPD Foundation, visited food businesses along Geary Boulevard.

Thanks to the generous support of the SFPD Foundation, Richmond Station purchased gift cards and gift certificates from local restaurants and food businesses. These will be distributed to Richmond Station officers to use for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at neighborhood businesses.

This program is a meaningful investment in our local merchants while also creating more opportunities for officers to connect with the businesses and people they serve every day. Strong neighborhoods are built through partnerships, and this is a great example of the police, community, and local businesses working together to support one another.

A big thank you to Captain Kevin Lee, the Richmond Station officers, Ixchel Acosta, the SFPD Foundation, and all of the participating Geary Boulevard merchants for making this possible.

Today, members of the SFPD Small Business Advisory Forum had the opportunity to visit the SFPD Real Time Investigative Center (RTIC) and see firsthand how technology is helping keep San Francisco safer.

During our visit, we witnessed a real time operation in which a stolen vehicle was tracked, located, and recovered. The suspect was safely arrested with the assistance of RTIC, demonstrating how real time intelligence and coordination support officers in the field.

It was impressive to see how advanced technology, teamwork, and rapid information sharing can help solve crimes more efficiently while enhancing public safety.

Thank you to the San Francisco Police Department and the RTIC team for the informative tour and for your continued commitment to protecting our neighborhoods, residents, visitors, and small businesses.
