When Lubega was first met by our team, he was out of school and unsure of what his future could look like.

What stood out was not just his situation, but his willingness to try again.

Through consistent mentorship and support, Lubega returned to education and trained in automotive mechanics. Along the way, he grew in discipline, confidence, and responsibility.

At graduation, he was recognised for his character and commitment. Today, he is preparing to continue his studies and step into the next stage of his journey.

Behind every strong program is a strong team.

This month, our Uganda team spent time reflecting on vision, values, and culture. Through storytelling and practical exercises, they explored what it means to live out values such as consistency, accountability, and respect in their work with children.

When teams are aligned, supported, and grounded in shared values, children experience stability, care, and consistency.

Hey Church & Ministry Leaders!

If you're wondering how your church can get more deeply involved in Uganda, we have an opportunity for your church body.

Our church partnership program allows the body of Christ to cross oceans and operate as one. Your church can sponsor groups of children, sponsor a program, or sponsor an entire school body to create a community-wide impact.

Our vision trips provide your members with the chance to experience the mission on the ground. This life-changing experience allows the body to come together in powerful ways.

Sponsorship is about more than meeting needs. It is about walking with a child as they grow.

Through consistent support, children gain access to education, medical care, daily meals, and mentorship. They are supported not just in school, but in who they are becoming.

Over time, that consistency creates stability, builds confidence, and opens opportunities that would not otherwise be possible.

For many children, a sponsor is the turning point.

Zahara McCoy was once a sponsored child. Today, she leads Children of Grace.

In her own words, sponsorship meant being seen, being safe, and being given the chance to become something more than her circumstances.

Today, she shares that journey with churches and communities around the world.

If you are part of a church and want to bring a message of faith, resilience, and long-term transformation to your community, we would love to connect.

For many students in Uganda, completing Senior 4 is a key turning point.

It is a time to decide what comes next. Some continue with academic study. Others move into vocational training to gain practical skills and enter employment.

Last month, 43 students and their parents attended a career guidance workshop to support these decisions.

Families had the opportunity to learn together, explore different pathways, and ask important questions.

With the right support and information, students can make confident choices about their future and take their next steps with clarity.

Sponsorship is not just about meeting needs. It is about walking with a child as they grow, learn, and discover who they are.

Through sponsorship, children receive education, medical care, meals, and consistent mentorship. More importantly, they are known, supported, and given the opportunity to step into their full potential.

For many, this kind of support changes the direction of their entire future.

One child is waiting. And Their Future Begins With You.

Some things are better understood in person.

This August, you’ll have the opportunity to join our team in Uganda. Participants learn directly from our Ugandan team, spend time with mentors and students, and support specific programs happening on the ground. Whether that’s assisting with workshops, serving during a camp week, or helping strengthen a key initiative.

If you’ve ever wanted to see how holistic care works firsthand this may be your opportunity.

Join the waitlist to receive updates and trip details as they’re finalized.

Sponsoring a school is one of the most impactful ways to invest in long-term change.

Rather than supporting one child at a time, this approach strengthens entire learning environments by placing Children of Grace teams within local schools and extending care, mentorship, and leadership development to every student.

Built on over two decades of work in Uganda, this model is designed to support children in vulnerable circumstances at scale, while maintaining the consistency and relational care the organization is known for.

This is our highest-level sponsorship opportunity, creating a lasting legacy of leadership across communities.

Nearly 3 million children in Uganda are classified as orphans.

Behind that number are children navigating loss, instability, and limited access to consistent care and support.

At Children of Grace, we work within communities to provide long-term support through education, mentorship, healthcare, and family partnership — helping ensure children are not left to navigate these challenges alone.

For many, that support begins with one consistent relationship.
