OH THE LOVE! 🤟 Being part of the Bay Area International Deaf Dance Festival was, as always: deep, heart-filled, artistically-inspiring and like coming home to family.

❤️ I am so grateful, as a hard-of-hearing/deaf artist, to have been part of this festival and this family! Thank you SO MUCH Urban Jazz Dance Company, Antoine Hunter and Zahna Simon! Y'all are INCREDIBLE.

✈️ I got to reunite with dear ones from across the country, and make new friends, all while enjoying the company of my beloved dancers Nol Simonse, David Le and Brandon Graham ! We had a blast performing.

⏰Don't miss next year -- the 15th Anniversary presented by Urban Jazz Dance Company!

IMAGE DESCRIPTIONS:
Photo 1 shows a dancer in a dramatic spotlight on stage; wearing a hot pink lace shirt and tights, with the wheels and rims of their wheelchair catching the stage light, they frame their face elegantly with their arms as they twist toward their right and lift their face to the sky.

Photo 2 shows 3 dancers onstage; they all wear hot pink lace tops and either hot pink or black lace tights. One dancer is standing, perched atop a small white stool; a second dancer is sitting on their stool, with their legs in the side splits, and their head swinging to one side in ecstatic movement; the third dancer also swings their head to the side in sensual movement.

Photo 3 shows a dancer onstage: the stage lights reflect in their crutches, which they hold up high into the air on both sides of their body. They are wearing voluminous beige gossamer fabric -- a huge boa-type wrap and a negligee. Long strips of white fabric cross the image from left to right, both in front of their body and behind their body.
