San Francisco Living Wage Coalition

San Francisco Living Wage Coalition The San Francisco Living Wage Coalition is a grassroots movement of economic justice for low wage workers. (se habla espanol).

We educate, organize and mobilize to demand that our tax dollars and use of public property do not go to businesses that pay poverty wages. We believe that everyone who works full time should be able to survive on what they earn and support their families.

Reclaiming Cinco de Mayo event taking place on May 5th from 6-8 PM. This is an event aimed towards re-centering the true meaning of Cinco de Mayo in its significance as a victory that supported the civil war against slavery in the United States and against French imperialism in Mexico, and built solidarity between the people of the United States and Mexico.

Enjoy food, music from Francisco Herrera, and presentations by labor organizers on the need for solidarity between workers in the United States and Mexico in protecting workers rights, particularly the right to a union, in the review process of the United States-Canada-Mexico Agreement.
