Executive pay increased 5% to 20% across the CSU after a year of cutting positions, pushing early retirements and slashing departmental budgets.

Stan State leadership saw promotions and bonuses, right after coordinating layoffs.

The Stan State President’s monthly pay is $36,859.92.

Meanwhile, the frontline staff who keep this campus running every day are facing frozen positions, heavier workloads, and calls to tighten budgets. True fiscal responsibility starts at the top. We cannot prioritize executive pay while asking the rest of the campus community to do more with less.

At Stan State, most staff are outpaced by the President in just a matter of days.

Should one executive make a staff member's entire annual salary in just 29 - 60 days?
If CSU can fund millions for administration, they can fund regular salary steps increases for staff.

HEERA protects higher education employees' right to form, join, and participate in labor unions, and to bargain collectively over wages, hours and working conditions.

It also protects employees from illegal retaliation, discrimination or coercion. Your supervisor or unit director cannot question you about your engagement with union activities or prevent you from participating in union events or discriminate against you because you participate.

Nic started at Stan State nearly 20 years ago as a student. He's a proud Warrior Alumnus (BFA '12). As the Stan Prints Lead, he serves students by managing the print shop, overseeing everything from the production of professional business cards to flyers, large-scale posters and promotional materials to assisting departments with their printers.

It takes just 41 days to make Nic's entire annual salary, yet the CSU tells staff there is no funding for salary steps. Staff like Nic deserve regular, scheduled pay increases. There seems to be endless funding for executive pay at CSU, it's time for staff to get fair pay.
