Congratulations to Agnes, who graduated from Pacific Rim International School (PRINTS) last month! In the fall, Agnes will be attending UC San Diego, where she will be studying psychology. 🧠
Agnes has been a committed and passionate swimmer as well as a kind and caring teammate throughout her time with the Merionettes. This past season, she took on a role as a coach for our youngest Novice swimmers in addition to swimming on our Junior team. 🏊🏻♀️
Agnes’s synchro career began when she was nine years old, and after nearly ten years swimming for SFM, she finished her last season with three medals — including gold in 16-19 Acro — at the 2025 Junior Olympic Championship. 🥇🥈🥈
In addition to her athletic achievements, Agnes is also an incredibly talented and accomplished visual artist. She has won several awards for her paintings over the years — she most recently won first place at the district and state Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Auxiliary’s Young American Patriotic Art Contest, and will now represent California at the national level. 🎨
Agnes’s artistic skills are not limited to the canvas. Agnes is known for her animated facial expressions in all of her routines, and has also designed several competition suits for SFM’s 12U, Youth, and Junior teams. Additionally, she is the Junior team’s (unofficial) resident makeup artist who has come up with designs for her teammates’ eyeshadow at every competition over the past several years. ✨
