🚨 PROTECT OUR COMMUNITIES. RESTORE THE CUTS. FUND SAN FRANCISCO’S VALUES! 🚨

Right now, San Francisco’s proposed budget includes millions of dollars in cuts to programs that older adults and people with disabilities rely on every day. These cuts could impact vital services that help our community stay connected, healthy, housed, and independent.

At LBFE, we see firsthand how important these programs are. Older adults deserve to age with dignity, support, and connection—not face barriers to essential services.

The budget process isn’t over—and there is still time to act! Join us in speaking up for our older adult community. 📣 Together, we can help ensure San Francisco remains a city that values and invests in people of all ages.

🌸✨ May is AAPI Heritage Month ✨🌸

This month, we also celebrate the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, including the older adults whose stories, traditions, and experiences continue to shape and strengthen our communities every day! 💛

This year’s theme, “Power in Unity: Strengthening Communities Together” reminds us that connection, community, and collective care make us stronger together. At LBFE, we are proud to support and connect with older adults from diverse backgrounds through friendship, compassion, and meaningful relationships.

We honor the wisdom, resilience, and lived experiences of our AAPI older adults and recognize the importance of preserving cultural connection across generations. ✨
