We're proud to be a 2026–27 San Francisco Grants for the Arts grantee!

The Arts Commission and Grants for the Arts recently announced a combined investment in the arts totaling over $25 million, supporting nearly 400 local artists and arts organizations.

For nearly five decades, Volti has been part of what makes San Francisco a center for artistic innovation, bringing adventurous new vocal music to life and creating opportunities for singers and audiences alike to discover what's possible with the human voice.

This funding sustains our work: championing new music, collaborating with fellow Bay Area artists, and nurturing the next generation of singers and composers.

We're grateful to .gfta and for this investment in Volti and in the artists and organizations that make San Francisco such a vibrant and creative city.

Go inside the making of this powerful work in a conversation with composer Huang Ruo, choreographer Phil Chan, and members of the Del Sol Quartet, moderated by our very own Sidney Chen.
