"Notorious BIG Spinning Wheels" offers meditation, mesmerization, and whimsy through monumental spinning sculptures.
"Axis Mundi: Resonant Spire" rises from the desert as a 33-foot wooden tower of ever-evolving audiovisual interaction, translating participant voices in both sound and light.
"Aetheric Ascension Tower" carves the silhouettes of human souls into a cone piercing the sky from its roots in the earth.
"Elemental Dragon" emerges as a fractal wooden sculpture, inviting every observer to meet and co-create the mythical creature in collective imagination.
"LOOKOUT!" is a 48-foot fire extinguisher lookout tower, asking us to reckon with the scorching state of our world.
"Above and Below" reminds us of the artistic desire to cultivate spaces of adventure and connectivity in our homes through a beanstalk structure, suspending a glowing Victorian cottage 40 feet in the air.

June 21, the solstice, marks the 40th anniversary of Burning Man... Wherever you are, and however you burn, YOU are invited to light up the solstice in a simultaneous celebration of that first spark. Gather with friends, build an effigy, dance beneath the stars, illuminate the night, host a campout, spin fire.

It’s a moment to reflect on this astonishing journey, and to look ahead at the next four decades of Burning Man and this radiant global cultural movement. Share your celebration with the hashtag . We’ll do our best to highlight as many of your moments as we can!

Forty years ago on the solstice, friends gathered to burn a Man on a San Francisco Beach. In 1990 Burning Man founds its home on a vast lakebed, the Black Rock Desert.
An ephemeral city emerged, a nexus of Communal Effort and Radical Self-expression now 70,000 strong. Today around the world, Burning Man inspires more than a million people to live more creative, connected lives.

"As Above, So Within" is a 3D-printed Mandelbulb fractal sculpture, featuring intricate organic geometry.
"Behind Closed Eyes" is a hollow 16-foot figure hand-carved from retired Indonesian fishing vessels and reclaimed timber.
"Do Baskets Dream of Shores or Sea" pairs lanterns with Vietnamese basket boats (thúng chài), handwoven and painted on the coast of Vietnam.
