Enrichment: are exceptional climbers because their feet can rotate a full 180°. As soon as they're able to focus their eyes and safely start climbing, young raccoons need as many ways as possible to hone their climbing skills and learn to maintain their balance. As they get older, we transition our baby raccoon patients away from man-made objects and towards objects they would find in nature like branches and logs.

These orphaned juvenile are getting so big and strong! They are currently in an outdoor ReWild cage. Very soon it will be time to release them back into the wild.
