🎉 HUGE SUCCESS in the Tenderloin! 🎉
Yesterday, BADD (Brothers Against Drug Deaths) hosted our very first FREE HIV/STD/Hep C testing event, and we couldn’t be more proud of the turnout!

Thanks to our incredible partnerships with the SF Department of Public Health (DPH) and Glide Memorial, we were able to serve so many members of our Tenderloin community.

Beyond vital health testing and treatment opportunities, they handed out backpacks and essential supplies to those in need. 🎒❤️

On November 22, 2025, a truly unforgettable moment of truth-telling, healing, and hope took place at the historic Ruth Williams Bayview Opera House. 🎭✨

Presented by Brothers Against Drug Deaths (BADD), the original stage play "Beyond My Family’s Reach" debuted to sold-out crowds. Written by Kamika Hebbert and Rosiland Coats, this powerful production shined a raw, necessary light on the unseen struggles with mental health, trauma, and substance abuse within our communities, exploring the heavy toll it takes on families and the system failures that so many navigate.

The response from our community was overwhelming, and the conversation doesn't stop here. We are incredibly proud of the cast, crew, and creators who brought this story to life—and we would love to share this powerful journey with audiences, organizations, and advocates who are interested in keeping this dialogue alive.

Free Rapid Antibody Testing: Quick finger-prick testing for HIV, Hepatitis C, and Syphilis (Results in 20 minutes!).
Hospitality: Free snacks, backpacks, and basic needs resources.
Resource Table: Naloxone (Narcan) distribution, BEAM treatment linkage for substance use disorder, and LINCS HIV/HCV/STI navigation.
Whether you need to get tested, grab some harm reduction supplies, or just need a snack and a backpack, everyone is welcome. No judgment, just care. 🧡
