Today is World Mental Health Day—a gentle reminder to pause, look after ourselves, and check in on the people around us. 💚

Navigating life’s challenges, especially when settling into a new country or managing the daily juggle, can sometimes feel a bit isolating. But you never have to carry those burdens alone.

For more than 30 years, the Irish Immigration Pastoral Center has been a true home away from home for the Irish community across Northern California. A core part of that mission is ensuring you always have a safe, supportive place to turn.

As we continue Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Queen’s Hive is coming together next week for a special evening dedicated to holistic breast health, wellness, and community.

September Highlights ⏪ October Preview ⏩

September was all about getting back together — and we certainly made up for lost time!

We kicked off the fall with our first Mass & Luncheon after the summer break, welcoming nearly 100 friends for an afternoon of great food, music, rosé, and plenty of catching up. We were especially delighted to welcome Marianne Bolger, the new Consul General of Ireland in San Francisco, who joined us for the celebration and met some of the wonderful people who make our community so special.

The month continued with Cairde Café, Men’s Shed, Ladies’ Pickleball, Mindful Moves, our Hiking Club, and CPR & First Aid training. We also celebrated the launch of Queen’s Hive, our new women’s community focused on friendship, connection and supporting one another.

From the luncheon table to the pickleball court and hiking trail, September was a wonderful reminder of just how good it feels to be back together — moving, laughing, learning and connecting.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the Queen’s Hive is creating a warm, welcoming space to listen, learn, share, and support one another.

Join us on Tuesday, October 13, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the Kolping Center, 440 Taraval Street.

We’ll be joined by:

Dust off your dancing shoes, ARC — we’re turning back the clock for our October Mass & Luncheon!

Why 1966?

Oh, no particular reason… 👀

There’ll be good food, great company, plenty of laughs and perhaps a few surprises along the way.

But after last month’s delicious trip to Italy, there is one piece of information we are NOT revealing:
