We're excited to be featured in Catster, celebrating our new 501(c)(3) non-profit status!
We still can't believe it has been over 12 years of KitTea! Thanks to everyone in our network for your support - we really could not have done it without our community, friends and the generosity of strangers.

But KitTea Rescue & Lounge is more than just a cozy cat café—it’s a community-driven rescue space built around the belief that cats deserve to be seen, understood, and celebrated.

Some of our cats are in pain right now and you can help change that! 🐱 Buffy, Shiloh, Ginny, and others have feline stomatitis which is a brutal gum disease that makes eating and even purring agonizing. In shelters, cats like them are often put to sleep just because their mouths hurt. KitTea takes them in because every cat deserves a pain-free life. Each dental procedure costs $1,000 to $3,000. Even $25 brings them closer to relief.

KitTea has spent over a decade creating a cozy sanctuary for cats and cat-loving humans and now we’re working toward something even bigger: transitioning KitTea into a rescue-focused nonprofit to better serve at-risk cats and our community.

Come get your stretch on with us this Wednesday from 5pm-6pm for a purrfectly relaxing Purrlates class! Whether you’re a Pilates pro or just here for the cuddles and fun, we’ll help your muscles feel the burn – with a side of purrs!
Bonus: You’ll be surrounded by our sweet rescue kitties (who are basically Pilates experts at this point) doing their best “cat-cow” poses. It’s therapy, but with more fur, and every class helps support small business and cat rescue. 🐱💖
