🚨 Evaluation Help Needed for Tater 🚨
Meet Tater ❤️
Tater is a 10-year-old handsome senior guy looking for a safe landing spot after his mom sadly passed away. He is very loved by his family, but right now he’s being bounced around between homes, and everyone agrees he deserves stability and a permanent plan. We would love to bring him into our program — but first we need an evaluation.
📍 Tater spends time in both: • Corvallis, Oregon
• Vancouver, Washington
So either area would work for an evaluation.
About Tater: 🐾 70 lbs of professional couch potato
🐾 Loves people and children
🐾 Sweet, attention-loving senior boy
🐾 Not a fan of nail trims… but honestly, same buddy 😅
We are looking for someone experienced who could help evaluate him so we can move forward with bringing him into rescue and finding him the soft place to land that he deserves. Senior dogs losing their person is always heartbreaking, and we want to make sure Tater’s next chapter is a good one. ❤️

🚨 FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED 🚨
📍 Tillamook, Oregon
This sweet young guy needs a soft place to land. 💔
He doesn’t even have a name yet… but we do know he’s about 2 years old, happy, friendly, and ready to soak up all the love and attention he can get. He followed some kids home from school and eventually ended up at the shelter. Sadly, nobody came looking for him.
He is currently at the Tillamook K9 Shelter, and shelter life just is not for this boy. He wants people, playtime, and a couch—not kennel walls.
Here’s what we know so far: 🐾 About 2 years old
🐾 Loves kids
🐾 Wants to play with other dogs
🐾 Happy, goofy personality
🐾 Not neutered yet — don’t worry, we’ll get all of that handled
🐾 Cats unknown
Right now, he just needs someone willing to open their home and give him a chance. Even temporary fostering helps save lives. ❤️

✨ Welcome Home Luna ✨
Sweet little Luna met her forever family yesterday… but let’s rewind a bit before we get to the happy ending. ❤️
Luna was originally posted on Facebook for rehoming. Before she could fall into the wrong hands, Rachel Rockwell-Brown saw the post, reached out to the family, and called us.
“If I go get this girl, do you think you can find her a home?”
Absolutely. 💪
So Rachel and Byron Brown II stepped up, went and got her, and Luna arrived bringing ALL the girl energy. 😂💕 They fostered her while we got her spayed, chipped, and vaccinated. During that time we learned Luna loves every human and every dog she meets. She is just pure joy wrapped up in a tiny bully body.
After reviewing applications, we decided Luna was meant to become a Canadian resident with the amazing Cori Lynn Rutter and family. 🇨🇦
Only one tiny problem… Luna was in Oregon and her new family lived way up in Canada. So the rescue transport planning began. 🚗🐾
Luna made her way to Jene Jené Miller and family, who instantly fell in love with her too. I got a text from Jene saying, “Who would give up this amazing girl? If she wasn’t already spoken for, we would keep her.” Honestly… we hear that a lot with these dogs. ❤️
Then yesterday happened.
Cori and her family drove down to the border while Jene and her family drove up. The moment they met Luna, it was love at first sight. Happy tears were flowing on both sides.
And then came the part that gave all of us goosebumps…
Cori noticed Luna’s birthday was tied to a deeply significant date in her life — the day her young son was diagnosed with cancer. She truly felt this was fate. That Luna was always supposed to be their dog. ❤️
This morning I woke up to amazing photos of Luna’s 6 AM zoomie energy taking over the house already. 😂🐾
We also want to thank every single person involved in helping this little girl get to where she needed to be. Rachel and Byron for stepping in immediately and keeping her safe. Jene Miller and family for loving her like their own while helping make transport happen. Cori and her family for opening their hearts and home to her. And to everyone behind the scenes that helped coordinate, transport, support, and cheer this girl on — this is what rescue is all about. It truly takes a village. ❤️

🎉 ADOPTED: Sir Loin (aka Sirloin, professional chaos coordinator) 🎉
Well… he did it. He packed up his nonsense and officially moved to Montana to live his best life—and honestly, we love this for him.
You might remember his legendary transport story… the one where Mother Nature said “not today” ❄️ and he and his new mom got stuck in a snowstorm. What did that turn into? Two full days of bonding in a hotel. Not exactly the plan—but honestly, probably the best “getting to know you” experience ever.
Fast forward to now…
Sir Loin is living his dream life with his big sister Kai (a proud BTR PNW alum from a couple years ago 👏). And let’s be real—Kai is out there doing the Lord’s work, teaching him the ropes of Montana living while he brings the full throttle, slightly unhinged, puppy energy.
We all know that dynamic:
One responsible adult.
One chaos gremlin.
Perfect balance. 😂
💛 A huge THANK YOU to Dawn Friesen and family for not only giving Sir Loin an incredible home, but for coming back and rescuing again. This is what it’s all about—families who love the breed, understand the chaos, and still say, “Yeah… we’ll take another one.”
Sir Loin hit the jackpot.

And we got another happy ending.

Sometimes the universe doesn’t whisper… it nudges… then shoves… then sends a tiny bull terrier to seal the deal. 😄
Baby Brida came into rescue as the tiniest little thing—and now she has officially landed exactly where she was meant to be.
Tyler Wiltsey and Brianna Wiltsey have been absolute rockstars for this rescue. They’ve stepped up time and time again—fostering, taking on tough cases, even the medically complicated ones that make most people pause. The kind of people every rescue quietly hopes for.
So when they said, “We think we need a break… maybe something small and easy when the time is right…”
I said… “Wellllll…” 😏
Enter: Brida. Tiny. Perfect. A little mini bull terrier with a big personality packed into a small, adorable package.
Tyler’s first response?
🚫 “Don’t send pictures.”
The very next day?
📸 “Okay… send pictures.”
And the day after that?
🚗 Off they went—with Brida heading home.
I knew the moment Tyler drove away… this was it. This was her family. ❤️
Brida hit the jackpot, and honestly… so did they.
Thank you, Tyler and Brianna, for everything you’ve done for this rescue and for giving this sweet girl the forever she deserves.

Bull Terrier Ellie is 19 months old, full of personality, and always ready for her next adventure. Zoomies? Elite level. Car rides? Absolute favorite. And yes… she would be an amazing hiking buddy. 🥾🌲
This girl loves her people big and is happiest when she’s out doing life with you—whether that’s hitting a trail, strolling the farmers market, or just claiming her rightful spot on your couch.

👉 She’d like to be your one and only at home.
Ellie is non-reactive on leash, does great out in public, and handles the world like a pro. She just prefers not to share her home base—queen behavior only. 👑

CINDY UPDATE… and a little ask ❤️
Cindy is officially with her foster-to-adopt mom and let’s just say… it’s LOVE. The real deal. The kind where you start planning your life around her immediately 💕
BUT… we need a tiny bit of help to make this transition smooth.
📍 Whidbey Island, WA
🗓 Temporary Foster Needed: April 20 – April 29
✈️ Mom returns the evening of the 29th (around 5:30 PM), so this would just be a couple extra hours after she lands until Cindy can be back in her arms.
We are SO close to forever — this is just a quick layover before she’s officially home 🥹

Months ago, we got that call…
An abandoned Bull Terrier, out on farmland in Eastern Washington. Alone. Scared. No one claiming her.
So we did what we always do… we put the call out.
And one of our incredible volunteers stepped up and went to find her. ❤️
What she found was a nervous, unsure girl who didn’t know who to trust…
But look at her now 👇

Cardi B Update ❤️‍🩹
Because of all of you… she’s here. And she’s healing.
Cardi B had her surgery and we are so happy to say—she is doing great.
She made it to her foster home last night and was very happy to be out of the vet’s office (honestly… same, girl 😅). I checked in on her today and she is eating well, taking all of her meds like a perfect patient, and even has a little pep in her step.
Her foster mom is doing an incredible job keeping her calm and comfortable so she can heal—no small task for a bull terrier 💁‍♀️
