the Mpowerment Project

the Mpowerment Project "This is not traditional AIDS education, HIV prevention outreach, safer s*x workshops, or AIDS prevention public service announcements."

If your organization is looking for a program that can make an enormous difference in the lives of young gay and bis*xual men ages 18 - 29, then the Mpowerment Project may be right for you. The Project mobilizes young gay/bis*xual men to shape a healthy community for themselves, build positive social connections, and support their friends to use condoms, have safer s*x and get tested. The Mpowerme

nt Project can reach large numbers of young gay/bis*xual men in a cost- effective manner because it is a community level intervention. http://mpowermentproject.blogspot.com/

"No oppression exists by itself. Racism is connected to homophobia, is connected to transphobia, ageism, and ableism - whatever the 'isms' are, they are all connected, and we all live intersectional lives. If we want to achieve health equity, and really meet our diversity goals, we can't just address one of those 'isms', we need to address them all." - Greg Rebchook
