What an incredible Saturday! After months of hard work, Rocking the Boat San Francisco officially launched the first boat built from scratch at our shop.

Congratulations to all of our students, Program Assistants, and Program Directors on this remarkable achievement!

And thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us, including San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie, who joined the students who built her in christening Paradise. Here's to the beginning of much more to come!

Did you see us on last week?! Our students are furiously finishing construction of their boat to get ready for LAUNCH DAY this Saturday August 8 from 10-2.

Make sure to come visit for ourdedication ceremony right at 11:30 and Launch at 12 - we'll need as many good vibes as we can muster to give this boat a great start!

Last year, Rocking the Boat San Francisco students launched a rowboat they spent months restoring.

On August 8, they will name and launch the 16-foot boat they’re building from scratch in our Bayview-Hunters Point boat shop.
