BAAAHS BAAAHS is the BIG-ASS AMAZINGLY AWESOME HOMOSEXUAL SHEEP and he wants you inside!

Leveraging the booking talents of Honey Soundsystem co-founder Jacob Sperber, the q***r talent being harnessed for our vehicle--to deliver our gay agenda through sound and interpretive dance--will be world-class DJ’s and performers who specialize in schooling the masses on finding their inner freak, trans/lez/homo studies, and inducing dance trances for finding your power tranimal. For each of the

performers, collectives, DJs, and producers being asked to participate with BAAAHS project, it’s not about being the biggest party, the most famous, or topping the charts. Their endeavors are next generation artistic projects with a focus on community, culture, activism, and q***r history. While each are very successful in their own right, coming together in this way for Burning Man, it’s the first time this global gay underground music scene and community have been linked together with a single focus on the playa.

This July, we’re heading deep into the woods for a weekend of dance floors, drag, fantasy, absurdity, hot dogs, side quests, and whatever happens when a bunch of q***rs disappear into Potter Valley together.

Huge love to everyone who came out to the BAAHS Social at The Casements tonight. The drinks were flowing, the lore was deepening, and at least three future bad decisions were probably workshopped successfully.

Burning Man season is creeping closer, the Campout energy is building, and the sheep are once again becoming dangerously social. 🐑🔥

But you’re here, so clearly you didn’t.

SideQuest is a three-night q***r campout in the Mendocino hills, built around the idea that the best experiences aren’t mandatory—they’re found by wandering. It’s a choose-your-own-adventure weekend of music in the trees, art tucked off the path, and moments that happen when someone enters your orbit at just the right time.

Nothing here is consumed. Everything is made together, in small ways and unexpected ones.

The BAAAHS crew is gearing up for another year in the desert, and this is our proving ground, our dress rehearsal, our “does this flame effect actually work?” weekend. It’s a chance to get intimate with the BAAAHS fam before we hit the dust, or if you can’t make it to BRC this year, to get a little taste of what it’s like.
