The mission of the Lombard Business Merchants Association is to promote and improve economic opportunities for merchants along Lombard Street between Van Ness Avenue and Lyon Street. Designated a federal highway (U.S. 101), this neighborhood corridor faces many unique challenges. Our goal is to transform the Lombard corridor into a vibrant neighborhood commercial district with a diverse mix of anc

hor retail uses and small neighborhood businesses, reducing vacancies and thereby minimizing blight and crime. The Lombard corridor should represent an enjoyable, family-friendly and safe shopping experience and we will accomplish this by engaging merchants and residents as well as working with the City's economic development programs.
