We mobilize as q***r and trans leaders to preserve our abilities to dance, laugh, and love in community. Speakers at the event are SF Pulse Memorial event founder Christopher R. Vasquez, Castro LGBTQ Cultural District Manager Stephen Torres, SF Drag Laureate Persia, SF People March Co-Founder Alex U. Inn, Executive Director of Acción Latina Imelda Carrasco, and Galeria de la Raza Executive Director Ani Rivera.

Join us as we bring to life the idea that Pride is a Protest. Together, let’s celebrate the lives of the people lost at the Pulse shooting. This event is produced by the Castro LGBTQ Cultural District.

For a festival built by and for LBTQIA+ BIPOC communities, in a world that has never made that easy, two plus decades means something. Organizations like ours do not survive 26 years on momentum alone. Every year we get to do this is the result of filmmakers who kept creating, community members who keep showing up, and supporters who believe and contribute to the fact that everyone deserves to be in the room.

The 2026 festival schedule is live. Join us in person June 12, 13, and 14 at Presidio Theatre, 99 Moraga Avenue, San Francisco. Catch a satellite screening in your city through the fall. Or stream the free Encore Screening online in September from anywhere in the world.

Every screening is free and fully accessible, with open captions, audio description, ASL interpretation, childcare, and fragrance-free spaces.

50 films by q***r women, nonbinary, and trans filmmakers of color. In a moment when our communities are under direct attack, these are the stories that remind us who we are and what we are fighting for.

Join us in person at Presidio Theatre (99 Moraga Ave, SF) in San Francisco, June 12, 13, and 14. Satellite screenings are running in cities across the country through October. In September, the free Encore Screening streams online from anywhere in the world.
