Venice, you are a dream ….and I’m wide awake!

I’m having the time of my life, and pinching myself…proving that your best chapters don’t come with an expiration date!

This is my third act and I’m not slowing down…I’m continuing daily saying yes to adventure, beauty, laughter and every delicious possibility still waiting for me.

So when life whispers, “Isn’t it too late?” I ask the question that changed everything…
“What if it works?”

A friend of mine told me she is culling her wardrobe of some beautiful dresses because she feels "those days are behind me"!

As the saying goes When in Rome, do as the Romans do.🇮🇹

So… what do the Romans do on day one?

Well, they slow down…..They sit….They savour…..and they start the day with an amazing Italian coffee.☕️🇮🇹

And here I am… doing exactly that.

As a woman in her Third Act I’ve learned that life doesn’t get smaller with age…it gets richer when we choose to live it.

I’ve dreamed of coming to Italy for years, and now I’m here with my beautiful partner as we share our experiences together! Healthy, happy, deeply loved, surrounded by an incredible family and friends, and blessed to have built a business that allows me to help other women discover what’s possible in their own third act…. This is so special!

So perhaps “when in Rome…” isn’t just about coffee.

Maybe it’s a reminder to embrace the moment, follow the dream, and never let age decide what’s possible for you.

As I was travelling yesterday the thought of feeling like getting 'permission' allows life to happen poppeed into my head. I think sometimes we make change much harder than it needs to be.

We often convince ourselves we need the perfect plan.... we need to know how it will work, where it will lead and what everyone else will think.

However I always find myself coming back to questions these days....what if you don’t need the perfect plan?

What if change simply begins with a decision? The decision to stop putting yourself last.....to stop telling yourself you’re too old.

To finally explore that idea you’ve been thinking about for years.....to say YES to something that scares you a little…however excites you a LOT!💜

Some of the biggest changes in my life didn’t begin when I had everything figured out....they began when I decided!

You don’t need to know exactly what your next chapter looks like....you just need to decide you’re ready to write it.

And then ask yourself…What if it works? 😉
