Homebridge Inc. is expanding into Alameda County through a new partnership with Alameda Alliance for Health – marking Homebridge’s first direct care expansion outside of San Francisco.

“This expansion reflects where health care is heading — toward more integrated, community-based support,” said Bazil Fonseca, Senior Director of Growth & Innovation at Homebridge.

leaders recently joined Director of Hospital Operations at Laguna Honda Hospital & Rehabilitation Center, Edward Guina, to explore how San Francisco can continue building more connected, sustainable pathways of care for residents navigating complex health and social needs. These conversations reflect a growing commitment across sectors to create systems that are more coordinated, compassionate, and responsive to the realities facing San Francisco today.

Last week, we had the opportunity to welcome Housing Works of California Executive Director Celina Alvarez and Michael De La Torre for a thoughtful conversation about the shared challenges and opportunities facing mission-driven organizations serving vulnerable communities.

We were honored to participate in the Institute on Aging AAPI Leadership Panel, where leaders across healthcare, home care, and affordable housing came together to share their experiences, perspectives, and commitment to community impact.

The conversation explored personal journeys, leadership lessons, and the importance of leading with service, empowerment, and a dedication to uplifting others and strengthening communities.

Last month, attended the Community Care Initiative (CCI) in San Francisco – joining caregivers, community members, and champions of care in a celebration of connection and community.

The gathering brought together advocates and thought leaders for cross-sector dialogue on the future of caregiving, where a shared truth emerged: caregiving is essential infrastructure for resilient communities.

We’re grateful to our partners at Rework the Bay, San Francisco Foundation, RepresentED Leadership, WISE Health, Bayview Senior Services, SF IHSS Public Authority, and Bay Area Black Nurses Association (BABNA) for fostering meaningful dialogue and collaboration. We look forward to continuing this work in support of caregivers and stronger care ecosystems in San Francisco and beyond.
