We are excited to debut the Patricia Tobin Legacy Award at Spinsters of San Francisco Legacy Benefit Supporting Compass Family Services on Saturday, March 11th. Named after our illustrious founder, this annual award was established to honor one of our distinguished alumnae for their contributions to the Spinsters of San Francisco and for their lasting impact on the organization’s legacy within the San Francisco community.

We are honored to announce Bailey Douglass as the inaugural recipient of the Patricia Tobin Legacy Award.

Bailey Douglass is the CEO of Second Principles, a consultancy that provides strategic operations and progressive human resources advising to venture capital firms and startups. During her eight years in Spinsters of San Francisco, she served as President, Membership Director, Legacy Benefit Co-Chair, Annual Ball Co-Chair, Patrons Reception Co-Chair, and as a five-year member of the Advisory Board. During her time in the organization, she revamped the fundraising model and created the Legacy Benefit and Kicks for a Cause fundraising event. She has remained an active alumna member and advised SOSF Boards on financial management, philanthropic partnerships, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging strategies, membership development, and internal affairs over the last several years. She has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of San Francisco Bay, a member of the Oasis for Girls Advisory Board, and as president of the Alpha Phi Sorority San Francisco Alumnae Chapter.
