Why Our Projects Deserve Your Support

WaterBridge Outreach: Books + Water is a California 501(c)(3) organization that relies on public and private support, building a sustainable program of providing multicultural books to schools and libraries, while engaging with local communities to obtain and maintain access to clean water in areas of need around the world. How Your Contribution Will Be Used

Your contributions will provide the simplest
gifts of necessity for children, schools, and
families.Your donation will enhance the goals
of reading and literacy and will help to
implement water projects that assist
communities in developing countries to have
access to clean water and sanitation. By supporting our ongoing projects, you can
help to install a water well in a rural village or
create mobile libraries that place books in the
hands of young readers and students. Your
assistance can also provide water catchment
systems for drinking and farming or building lavatories in schools for young girls and boys. Without these basics of life, what hope will children and young people have for the future?

Our Story

WaterBridge Outreach: Books + Water is a California 501(c)(3) organization that donates books and literacy materials in English and local languages, supports mobile and stationary libraries, and finances clean water and sanitation projects in communities and villages in the developing world. We seek to promote multicultural literacy, education, and development that will make a long term impact, one book and one water project at a time, while building effective partnerships with local communities. Our book and water projects in communities in India, Tanzania, Haiti, Uganda, Pakistan, the Philippines and Malaysia serve those who have long experienced poverty, discrimination, and living on the edge of communities with little to minimal infrastructure. Through our work we give children and developing communities hope for the future by nourishing their minds and bodies through books and water.
