SF Transit Riders is a rider-based, grassroots organization working to improve transit in San Francis SFTRU is delivering that change.

SF Transit Riders (SFTRU) is a rider-based, grassroots organization working to improve transit in San Francisco. We ride transit and are frustrated with the delays, slow travel times, and lack of funding for better service. Our City is often on the cutting edge, but our transit system has fallen behind that of other major cities. San Franciscans have consistently supported transit, and they deserve a reliable, robust, and 21st-century transit system.

Make an informed vote on November 3, 2026! We’re keeping transit front and center for candidates, so whoever wins, we hope they'll stay focused on making transit better for all San Franciscans.

SFTR compiled information on upcoming ballot measures and reached out to candidates to hear their thoughts and priorities on the future of San Francisco’s transit system.
