Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Fair! ✨🎄

What an incredible day! We welcomed 2,997 visitors to this year’s San Francisco Christmas Fair, and were treated to two magical Lucia performances featuring nearly eighty children who lit up the room with true Scandinavian holiday spirit.

It was yet another successful year, and we are so grateful to everyone who stopped by to celebrate with us. Thank you for sharing in the joy, the traditions, the food, and the warmth of Swedish and Scandinavian culture.

Your presence made the day truly special. ❤️

The venue for SWEA San Francisco’s Christmas Fair this Saturday is Saint Mary’s Cathedral, located at 1111 Gough St in San Francisco.

*Please note* that parking is limited. If you can’t find parking at the Cathedral, please consider the following parking alternatives:

1610 Geary Blvd – Japantown
739 Turk St – Opera Plaza Valet Garage
500 Turk St – Self parking/Valet
819 Ellis St – Valet Garage
1150 Post St – Garage at 1200 Van Ness
989 Post St – Parking lot
655 Ellis St – Cova Hotel Valet

If you’re using MUNI, the 49, 38, and 31 all stop within walking distance of the Cathedral.

WESTBOUND: The 38 GEARY stops on the corner of Gough.

EASTBOUND: The 38 Geary stops on Geary at Laguna within walking distance. The 38R GEARY R stops on Geary/Starr King corner further down the hill.

With less than a week to go, preparations for SWEA San Francisco’s Christmas Fair are entering their final phase. 🤩🏁

20 gallons of glögg are being made, and almost 200 lbs of Swedish pick n’ mix candy are carefully being divided into small bags.🎄🎁

The day before the fair, our irresistable Swedish-style open faced sandwiches will be made, and all of our beloved Swedish Christmas foods and ingredients delivered, marked and displayed for you to purchase and enjoy.

A Swedish Christmas celebration wouldn’t be complete without glögg! 😍

The wonderful aroma of cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, ginger, orange peel and wine truly adds to the Christmas spirit in every home.

At SWEA San Francisco’s Christmas Fair, you’ll be able to taste home-made glögg at our GLÖGGSTUGA stand, as well as buy professionally produced glögg from either SWEA’s food stand or one of the vendors at the fair.

A cup of this flavorful holiday beverage, together with a gingerbread cookie and a lussebulle, will keep you warm and cozy as you wait for Santa to arrive! 🎄🎅🎁
