What a way to open our festival experience. Yo’s four children Peter, Kathrin, Tinni and Carrie along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, special friends and members of the team Sara Dosa , Hannah Roodman and Kaila Lee were all in the house for the North American premiere. It was an incredibly special, emotional and beautiful, screening. Thank you and Kate McKay for this lovely homecoming . We can’t wait for the rest of the week. Added some images of us reuniting with the house in our studio at the Noonan Building. 🙌🏻 Please come out and experience it for your self at our San Francisco screening Saturday, May 2nd at 8 PM at Letterman 1 in the Presidio!!!

Please join The Martha’s Vineyard Center for Living for a free screening of The Genius of Marian, followed by Q&A with filmmaker Banker White and a panel of dementia & geriatric professionals & local caregivers.

The Genius of Marian is a feature length documentary that explores the heartbreak of Alzheimer’s disease the power of art and the meaning of family. The film follows Pam White in the early stages of Alzheimer’s as her son the filmmaker documents her struggle to hang on to a sense of self.

We met Saint Agnes of Bohemia today at St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. She was a 13th-century princess who turned down multiple marriage proposals from emperors to live a life of service, typically depicted holding a small model of the convent she founded and is a popular symbol of Czech independence.

We are thrilled to share the news that our project Yo (fka Heaven Through the Backdoor) is heading to Berlin for its World Premiere at in the Official Competition on February 20th.
It has been a 16-year adventure with a dream team of creative partners in cinema, puppetry, animal wrangling, and art making. It’s exciting (and a bit scary) to begin sharing this with the world, but I can’t imagine a more perfect time and place to do it.
It has been an absolute pleasure making art with all of you - can’t wait for more!
