California Outlaw Series

California Outlaw Series Dedicated to the growth and maintenance of the California Downhill Skateboarding Community through solitary, and collective event organization.

If you're interested in hosting an event and need some support hit us up! Our goal is to host a race series bringing all of the downhill skaters outta the woodwork. Each of the California Outlaw events is hosted by its own race organizer. This makes it easy from us to bring all the community leader together and cover the entire state! We've banned together and created a uniform racing platform. Sk

aters are going to be earning points from every Cali Outlaw race they attend. Your best 5 events of 8 get counted to your finial points. Prize money will be collected form each entry fee to cover prize money for that event, as well as money saved up for our series champion. In 2008 we managed to get over 1,500 for California's champion... wonder what we'll reach in 2017.

The 2019 California Outlaw Series is about to kick off once again! This year we have 7 races, bringing you the classics that have gone so well for many years.

This weekend is the Dump Road Outlaw to start things off, followed closely by Barrett Junction next weekend. There is a $500 race off between the winner of Dump and the winner of Barrett following the Barrett finals, courtesy of Muir Skate!

The rest of the series is as follows:
Bako Outlaw - March
Backside Brawl - TBA
Cowtown - TBA
Spliff n Wesson - August
Bako Outlaw ll - September

The points chase will be your best 4 finishes of 7 races, lowest score wins; 1st place gets 1 point, 2nd gets 2, etc. Previous points champions (Max Capps) will not be able to acquire points during the series, this means that a new King will be crowned no matter what. The best chance you have at winning the series is by SHOWING UP! Not only does it increase your experience but it gives you many opportunities to collect precious points. More info on each race can be found on each event page, which will be shared through this page.

We will also be introducing clinics and slide jams to help the up and coming riders grow into the race series and bring the community together, more on this soon.
