Salesian Boys' and Girls' Club The Salesian Boys' and Girls' Club is a youth center serving San Francisco's North Beach and Bay Area Oreste Trincheri initially just for boys.

The Salesian Boys' and Girls' Club was established in San Francisco in 1918 by Fr. Father came to the North Beach area of San Francisco and found that its atmosphere spawned 60% of the city's delinquency. He realized that the volatile, creative Italian character of the boys that made up the area must have outlets for their energies. The Salesian Boys' Club was the answer. Now serving boys and girls (age 8-18) regardless of race, religion or creed.

Last week belonged to Sleep Away Camp. ⛺🔦

Beach games, softball, co****le at sunset, campfire nights, and a whole lot of laughs. Our campers made the most of every day and came home with stories they’ll be telling for a long time. ☀️

A week like this takes a lot of people. Thank you to our camp staff, counselors, cooks, and everyone working behind the scenes. Your time, care, and energy gave our campers a week they’ll always remember!

Champions!🏆🏀

Congratulations to our 3rd Grade Girls Basketball team, who capped off an incredible season by defeating St. Thomas More, 10–9, to become champions this weekend.

Their road to the title included a hard-fought playoff win just two days earlier, beating Zion Lutheran, 8–4, in overtime.

What a season. What a start to their Salesian basketball journey.

We are proud of this team, grateful for their coach, and thankful for the families and supporters who showed up for them all season long.

Congratulations to this year’s Joey Alioto Golf Tournament winners and thank you to every golfer, sponsor, alumnus, family member, and supporter who made the weekend special.

Good news for the Club!

The Salesian Boys & Girls Club has received a $50,000 grant from SC Johnson to support our work with young people and families in San Francisco.

Salesian has been supported by a grant from SC Johnson.

We’re grateful for this support as we continue providing safe, enriching programs for the kids and families who count on the Club.

The annual Salesian takeover of Reno is almost here.

In one week, alumni, families, and supporters will gather at Lakeridge Golf Course for the Joey Alioto Golf Tournament.

Three days of golf, reconnecting, community events, and supporting the programs that impact youth at the Salesian Boys’ & Girls’ Club every day.
