WatchPeopleDie is as bad as it sounds. It's part of a growing landscape of fringe online platforms where users can access extremist content alongside graphic violence. Young users are repeatedly exposed to violent content and extremist rhetoric, eroding their sensitivity to violence.

The ADL Center on Extremism has identified at least 8 mass attackers who were active on the website prior to their attacks. Most were young people.
