The San Francisco Buddhist Center offers courses, classes and retreats for anyone interested in Meditation, Mindfulness and Buddhism. We also host art and music events and wellness classes.

A two-hour workshop with Supernova - an all-levels-friendly introduction to bachata footwork and partner-work, along with discussion of spoon theory, access needs, gender inclusivity, and trauma-informed dancing. More than just a dance class, this is an evening of community-building and accessing joy through movement. Pre-booking required $25 t o$35.

Mini Meditation Retreat - come for the whole morning or any portion of it – just please be sure to arrive during a break – see the schedule below – as we will be unable to let you in otherwise. Meditations will be unguided, just bells, and the opportunity to sit together in our lovely shrine room.
By donation. Suggest: $10 to $50 or whatever you can afford.

Join us for a welcoming, all-levels introduction to bachata. Learn footwork, partnerwork, musicality, connection, and the foundations of social dancing in a supportive and inclusive environment.
More than just a dance class, this is an opportunity to build community, experience joy through movement, and explore communication, trust, and consent on the dance floor.
Please dress comfortably for dancing; no shoes are worn in the meditation—and dance!—room.
Pre-booking required. Cost: $25–35. Proceeds support the SFBC and our experienced guest instructor.
