The California We the People State Finals are right around the corner, and the kids need your support! All funds donated to CACE this week will go directly towards that effort. Now’s your chance to be a part of this effort to celebrate civic education and civic virtue in our Great State of California. It feels good.

Great day at the NorCal We The People Regional Competition! Foothill High School defended the CACE belt this year, winning the regional competition. However, both Foothill and Amador Valley High School move on to the Cal. State competition for a chance to represent California at Nationals, along with some great schools from the Bakersfield area and Southern California.

The NorCal We The People Regional Competition is past the halfway point, and humming along nicely! The Judges are working away, and the hardware awaits the winner of Amador Valley High School and Foothill High School.

This week, Amador Valley High School and Foothill High School both had a great showing in the NorCal District Competition for We The People!

Final tally was Foothill 850 and Amador 822.

They will compete again next weekend at the NorCal Regional Competition. See you there!

For just the 2nd time in the 30 year history of the CA We The People program, two Nor Cal teams - Amador Valley High and Foothill High - have advanced to the National Competition in Washington DC this April. It costs about $2300 per student. Donate today to help us get these deserving students there!
