For 251 years, the United States Navy has stood watch—defending our nation, protecting our freedoms, and serving with courage, honor, and unwavering commitment across the seas and around the world.

Today, we salute the generations of Sailors who answered the call to serve. We honor those currently standing the watch, those who served before them, and those whose sacrifice will forever be woven into the proud history of the United States Navy.

To every Sailor—past and present—and to the families who have supported them through deployments, separations, homecomings, and countless sacrifices: thank you for your service and dedication to our nation.

Yesterday, Delta Delta Zeta was excited to support Soror Tate and Soror Brooks as they represented Black Women Revolt Against Domestic Violence at the Bayview YMCA Community Pregnancy Village! We were joined there by the ladies of the San Francisco Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. Also at this event, Sorors were able to meet DJ Brookter, candidate for District 10 Supervisor and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, Pi Chi chapter.

Soror Tate led an informative workshop called Domestic Violence 101, educating those in attendance on how to identify and protect our community from domestic violence. We’re grateful for our Sorors’ dedication and impact, sharing important knowledge and resources during this Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Indigenous Peoples’ Day celebrates the resilience, wisdom, and heritage of the First Nations.

Today, we celebrate the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous people throughout history. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is proud to celebrate the diversity that comprises our Sisterhood, and we honor the beautiful legacy of our indigenous brothers and sisters.

Sorors, let’s use this day as an opportunity to educate ourselves, engage in meaningful conversations, and stand in solidarity with Indigenous people. Together, we can foster a more inclusive and equitable future for all.

Mental Health is not a sign of weakness, but a testament to our strength and resilience. World Mental Health Day is our way of recognizing and understanding that caring for our mental health and emotional well-being is just as crucial as our physical health.

Today, be intentional about checking on your loved ones - including your friends.

There’s not a certain ‘look’ - Just be kind. Encourage open conversations. Lend a listening ear, offer a hug or give someone a word of support, as they may be struggling in silence.
If that someone is you - remember that you are never alone on this journey.

Today, Soror Rodriguez joined Soror St.Louis in celebrating Latino Heritage Month by reading to students at John McClaren Early Education. Soror Rodriguez read to two classrooms of toddler and Pre K students, sharing culture and history with the community.
