Friends, 2020 will be the final year we award the Bobby Griffith Memorial Scholarship.

While eQuality Scholarship Collaborative has still been awarding over a dozen scholarships annually, we have not awarded a Bobby Griffith Scholarship since 2016. The pace of donations has slowed and simply has not been sufficient to award a scholarship annually. With the recent passing of Mary Griffith, Bobby’s mother, and the 30th anniversary of the scholarship fund, it just seems fitting that this should be the last year.

The fund does have enough to award one last scholar the standard amount of $6,000. However, we are accepting donations in order to make the final scholarship larger. If you’d like to contribute, you can donate online at www.equalityscholarship.org/donate.

Any donations received after March 24, 2020 will go to eQuality Scholarship Collaborative's general fund.

Don’t delay! Applications for the 2018 eQuality Scholarships are due by the end of the day, Thursday, February 1.

If you know of eligible students, please encourage them to apply - or to complete any applications in progress. The link to the online application is available on www.equalityscholarship.org.

Again this year, eQuality looking forward to awarding 16 or more $6,000 scholarships to eligible students graduating (or recently having graduated) high school, community college transfer students, and nursing and medical students to assist with post-secondary educational expenses. One of these scholarships is the Bobby Griffith Memorial scholarship!

We are now accepting applications for 2018 eQuality Scholarships. The eligibility requirements and the link to the online application are on our web site, www.equalityscholarship.org.
