LiA - Latinos in Architecture is a chapter of AIA SF, and the third of 8 LiA committees in the nation. Since its formation in early 2013, LiA SF has been instrumental in organizing multiple events in direct benefit of the San Francisco Latino community. LiA members have established partnerships with the Bay Area Schools to support Latino students, have organized book donation drives to help build

architecture libraries at local area High Schools and have collaborated with AIA SF and NOMA (National Organization of Minority Architects) for the Annual Architecture and the City Festival through the Perspectivas exhibition.

Hola Fellow LiAs y Amigx de LiASF! We are imploring you to PLEASE PLEASE donate whatever you can to the UC Berkeley CASA Scholarship. We are super duper close to our $15,000 goal, so any amount is very welcome. Again, this scholarship helps ANY underrepresented minority student or student-in-need to pursue their careers in Architecture, Urban Planning, and Landscape Architecture. Helping these talented young minds is super critical in these times when a lot of educational funding is being held back by "he who should not be mentioned" and sabotaging all and any DEI opportunities. Let's show him we mean business and support DEI initiatives! SI SE PUEDE!!

The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts needs are financial support repairs and fllood damage from the recent atmospheric river that dumped a lot of rain on San Francisco last week.
