Former employees are alleging the company of preying on the vulnerable, using machine learning and AI to “target losing gamblers with promotions that encourage more betting.”

DraftKings was sued in a federal class-action lawsuit in Massachusetts. The lawsuit claims the Boston-based sports betting company used artificial intelligence to figure out which customers were most likely to keep gambling and losing, and then targeted them with promotions.
