United Educators for Housing and Literacy - UEHL UEHL is dedicated to making affordable housing for educators a priority. After all, educators are the nation's soldiers of education and they should be honored!

We now focus on training educators to teach literacy and offer summer and after school literacy programs. Affordable housing enables educators to live comfortably, so that they can educate our kids without the worry or wondering if they can afford to live in any given area. While there is a lot of work ahead of us, along with many challenges, we are confident that with your support we will make progress and provide a real incentive-affordable housing- for our educators as we do for our military.

I SURVIVED YEAR 1 as an intern! One more year to go.
I am taking a much needed and well deserved vacation. I'm heading out on a 3 week road trip with my Mr. Dood, Elijah Jackson and we are going to have a great time exploring 5 states.
I wish I could start today, but I still have a week of training I'm tapped for in mid-June. We will be leaving shortly after that and I can't wait to get this show on the road!

This job is no joke. It's a ton of work and 2 tons of paperwork, not including the extra 300 hours of field work I have to find time to squeeze in during the year as well. But I got it done! And I have passed EVERY State required test on the first try! Let's hope it holds out! I have 2 major tests coming up in the Fall that I will have to spend some time on when we get back.

I will start again in early August (or more likely, late July) but this time, I should be better prepared. At least now I have actual curriculum to work with! And data collection tools on hand to do my job. It iwll be nice to have what I need when I go back. This year was Trial by Fire, but I'm still here and my commitment to giving back to my community has not wavered (although I have questioned my sanity at times)!

Looking forward to see what a new year and new grade levels will bring with it. Thanks for still being here my friends. You are the reason I am still sane, determined, and dedicated. 🥰😍

In honor of those fighting and in memory of those we have lost to Cancer.

I’m told (learning) that chemo, radiotherapy (and immunotherapy) treatment, can take years until you feel alive again ... With the side effects of chemo and radiation, you will never be 100% again because your immune system is weak. Ruins marriages, families and relationships with friends. Because you're not the same again after cancer and treatments. In the hardest moments you know who your real friends are or who the people are who appreciate you. Unfortunately, like with most friendships, Facebook friends will leave you in the middle of a story. They want a post to ′′like′′ for the story, but they don't really read your message when they see it is long. More than half have stopped reading. Someone may have already gone to the next post in their newsfeed. I have decided to publish this post in support of close family, friends and relatives who have fought this horrible disease.
Now I'm focusing on those who take the time to read this post to the end ... a little test, just to see who reads and who shares without reading.
Cancer is a very aggressive and destructive enemy of our bodies. Even after treatment, the body is devastated. It's a very long process. I would like to know who I can count on and who takes the time to read this. When you have finished this, write ′′Done′′ in the comments. Sadly, cancer is still the illness of the century. Please, in honor of someone who died, or who is battling cancer. Everyone says, ′′If you need anything, don't hesitate: I'll be there for you.′′ I know my family and friends will put it on their wall. You just have to copy. I did it for someone very, very, special! We all know someone who stood before us, and who has fought or who is still Fighting.💛💛💛💛
