What better way to learn how to run a business than by running one? 💡

Through CAMFED’s Transition Program, young women gain practical business experience by working together to set up and run “practice businesses” where they are able to build skills and confidence before taking their next steps into entrepreneurship.

This is just ONE of the ways we support young women as they transition from school into secure livelihoods!

We can’t open more doors to learning without fixing a few of them first! 🚪

Together, CAMFED graduates and a local Parent Support Group refurbished two schools in Ghana to celebrate our CAMA Day of Service.

With a fresh coat of paint, new windows & repaired doors, our community is helping make schools safer, more welcoming places to learn. 🎨🪟

Because every child has the right to a safe and supportive environment to learn and thrive.

I was not only the first girl in my family to attend university. I was the first in my entire neighborhood. 💫

My name is Fadila and I have just completed my masters at the University of Cambridge, with support from the Mastercard Foundation.

Growing up in northern Ghana, I wanted to be the kind of woman that girls in my neighborhood could one day point to and say, “She showed us what was possible.” 🗺️🤲🏿
